Dokumen sekuriti adalah lembar cetakan yang dilengkapi fitur-fitur pengamanan secara visual, seperti guilloche, rosette, micro text, invisible image dan lain-lain. Penambahan fitur pengaman ini dimaksudkan agar dokumen ini tidak bisa dipalsukan mengingat kegunaan dokumen yang sangat penting. Dokumen yang dimaksud seperti ijazah, akta-akta berlegalitas, buku kepemilikan kendaraan dan lainnya. Teknik pembuatan fitur pengamanan dilakukan secermat mungkin dan tersembunyi sehingga hanya pemesan dan perancangnya saja yang mengerti letak pengamanannya. Desain berbentuk garis-garis kurva dan mikro teks dibuat serumit mungkin dengan bantuan software grafis khusus sehingga mustahil dikerjakan secara manual atau dengan software grafis yang umum. Selain tampilan desain yang khusus, dokumen sekuriti juga menggunakan bahan kertas dan tinta khusus yang menjadikannya semakin unik dan sulit dipalsukan.
